Punctuation Peaks

A group of primary school children, weary of abstract lessons, discovered a different way to learn. Punctuation Peakstransformed literacy concepts into mini-adventures, disguising education within lively banter and whimsical storytelling. Crafted with stylised shaders and cinematic lighting, the series offered a tactile, stop-motion feel that made learning inviting rather than instructional.

Traditional infographic-heavy content rarely holds young attention. Drawing on ancient folklore and modern emoticons, the team built a bold visual language and character-driven world that grounded abstract ideas in story and personality.

Delivered in five months by a remote team, the project overcame technical hurdles, from storage conflicts to rendering and audio issues — while refining expressive character animation along the way.

The result exceeded expectations. Set in a cosy island campsite, the series captivated 8-year-olds, who quickly picked favourites like Bigfoot Bill and Cinders. Around the glow of a virtual campfire, punctuation and literacy came alive — proving educational content can be immersive, characterful and genuinely memorable.
