2 Royal Avenue Branding
After a fire in 2018 left much of Belfast city centre empty, 2 Royal Avenue, a historic building with a glass dome and sweeping arches, sat vacant for over three years. In 2021, Belfast City Council, working with Little Fox Events, reimagined it as a cultural hub for music, markets, workshops and everyday gathering.
Concept & Branding
Through stakeholder workshops, we shaped a brand that reflected the building’s history, architectural character and role as a civic meeting place, a calm pause within the city.
Soundscape & Music
To bring the outdoors in, we created a living, procedural soundscape inspired by nature. The system evolves with the time of day and never repeats, generating an organic ambience throughout the space.
Within a geodesic chillout dome, we composed slow-moving ambient works using piano, synthesis and granular textures, creating a warm, immersive atmosphere that subtly shifts over time.
Thoughtful, multidisciplinary design transformed an empty shell into a sensory, welcoming public space.
